The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Antique provincial office will hold free online lectures on entrepreneurship for women and the youth through its Kapatid Mentor Me (KMME) program.

KMME program in-charge Wilson Alian said in an interview Tuesday that the first of the two batches of the KMME participants will join the twice weekly lectures from February 18 to May 2.

“There will be 10 modules on entrepreneurship that will be discussed,” he said.

Among the topics are Entrepreneurial Mind-setting and Values Formation, Marketing Mindset, Business Model Canvass, Operations Management, Digitalization, Supply and Value Chain Management, and Entrepreneurial Accounting and Finance.

Alian said the mentors are graduates of previous KMME programs and business experts who want to share their knowledge and experiences.

To date, only one of eight slots for the first batch is left.

The participant must have a registered business.

The second batch of another eight participants will have lectures from May 15 to July 25. Three slots are left as of posting time.

Those interested may visit the DTI Antique office in San Jose or contact Alian at 0929-8441422.

Last year, 14 participants graduated from the three batches of KMME program that was first implemented in the province in 2017. (PNA)
