It’s the season of extreme fangirling! It’s the moment fans have been waiting to attend a live concert. Many artists have already announced their scheduled concerts in the Philippines, and fans couldn’t hold their excitement.

Eager to get a ticket but don’t have an idea what seat is best for you? Here are some tips you should consider in order to make that concert a memorable one.

Take a look at the venue

The concert venue is a vital piece in making your decision on where to sit. Venues differ from one another. Sometimes, general admission sections of some arenas are better than others. VIP seats are nearer than VIP standing for some. So, before you buy a ticket, make sure you check the venue and seat plans to avoid regret when the concert comes.

Check fancams and other concert performances

The next thing you should consider is the place where your bias usually stands. Of course, it is good to have a view of the whole performance, but isn’t it much better to have the best view of your own bias during the concert (if you are attending a group concert)? This will enable you to enjoy the concert better and have the possibility to have more interactions and fancams with your idol. So, you need to know which side you would pick when buying that concert ticket. Should you go for the left, center, or right side?

Consider your physical and financial capabilities

At the end of the day, you can not fully enjoy the experience when you are having problems during and even after the concert. So, always consider your physical and financial capabilities.

If you don’t have the stamina to last at least 2 to 3 hours standing, dancing, and shouting your lungs out, just opt for a seated concert ticket. It may be a little bit farther compared to the VIP standing section, but at least you are safe from collapsing due to exhaustion. You wouldn’t want to miss a single performance, would you? Another factor to consider is your height. Let’s face the reality, because if you still push to choose a VIP seat despite your short height, you end up seeing the heads of other fans instead of enjoying the faces of your idols while performing. You are also most likely to get drowned in the middle of a crowded place. A real bummer.

And lastly, choose the section based on your budget and financial capabilities. If you have the money to spend, then go for that VIP. Have those perks. But if your savings isn’t enough, don’t push it. After all, having a lower ticket tier won’t make you less of a fan, and what matters more is that you are there. Listening to their live vocals and performances.

Remember, you bought tickets to have fun and have a memorable experience with your favorite artists. So don’t ever forget to enjoy and savor the moment. Have a blast!
