Rejoice, SethDrea shippers! The teen love team is back together on screen with a musical drama series project, “Lyric and Beat”.

Lyric and Beat will be iWantTFC’s first original musical drama series. The series is set in the prestigious Philippine National Conservatory of Music (PNCM), a school for the country’s best singers, where top students and misfits compete for the opportunity to represent the school in the National Music Competition.

It centers on the budding relationship between Lyric (Andrea), a bubbly and driven teenager who aspires to be a famous singer, and Beat (Seth), an introverted dancer who develops a stage-fright following the death of his mom.

The series will also serve as a tribute to ABS-CBN Music’s creative director and legendary composer, Jonathan Manalo, in his 20th year in the industry. It will feature songs written by him such as “Kabataang Pinoy”, “Patuloy ang Pangarap”, “Tara Tena”, and more.

Andrea and Seth will star alongside other talented young Kapamilya performers Darren Espanto, Kyle Echarri, AC Bonifacio, Awra Briguela, Sheena Belarmino, Jeremy G, and Angela Ken.

At the series’ grand media conference, Andrea shared her excitement about starring in a musical because she got the opportunity to sing, dance, and act all at the same time.

Lyric and Beat is directed by Dolly Dulu, who is known for her works like “Love Beneath the Stars”, “The Boy Foretold by the Stars”, and “Wild Little Love”, also led by Andrea and Seth.

Lyric and Beat will be available for streaming for free in iWantTFC this August 10.
