The Korea International Cooperation Agency has announced the Koica Scholarship Program for 2022.

People who want to extend their education by enrolling in master’s and doctoral programs in the United States or abroad can try their luck in South Korea, where the application for the 2022 Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Scholarship Program is now open.

The Koika Scholarship Program is designed to train key leaders in partner countries to contribute to the socio-economic development of their home countries.

Who can apply for a scholarship to Korea through KOICC:

KOICA Master’s Degrees

  • Citizen of a partner country
  • Holder of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
  • A public official or publicly-affiliated worker
  • Those meeting the university’s selection criteria

KOICA Doctoral Degrees

  • Those meeting the selection criteria for a master’s degree
  • A master’s degree holder of KOICA’s Scholarship Programs

How to apply for a scholarship to Korea through KOICC:

  • For application guidelines and available course lists, refer to the program information of each course; access them through the KOICC CIAT website.
  • Applications will be collected by your government employer and then sent to the KOICA Overseas Office or the Korean embassy.

Tuition, a monthly allowance, airfare, accommodation, a settlement allowance, scholarship completion grants, insurance, and extracurricular activities are all included in the benefits package.

They are now offering scholarships to delegates from 62 countries to pursue master’s and doctoral degrees in South Korean universities. This includes courses in Gender and Development, Public Management and Public Sector Reforms, and Capacity Building at Seoul National University; Agricultural Economics at Kangwon National University; Finance and Tax Policy at Korea University; and Urban and Regional Development at the University of Seoul.

The deadline for applications for the 2022 Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Scholarship Program is on March 20.
